Such circumstances lead to our greater dependence on digital technologies and, at the same time, opens novel opportunities for entrepreneurship and innovation. Dynamic evolution of businesses requires new entrepreneurial approaches towards digitalisation strategies, organisational processes and capabilities, customer service, product development, and business models. Innovative decisions in digital technology applications for sustainable growth are a prerequisite for the majority of business markets, including healthcare, food, transportation, manufacturing, tourism, and many others. 2021 IEEE ICTE Conference is composed of Research Forum (Day 1) and Industry Forum (Day 2)
Research forum features insights from international speakers on the different aspects of digital transformations, such as orchestrating process of transformation, capturing value from digital transformations, developing digital ecosystems. In parallel, the forum provides opportunities to hear presentations from researchers and engineering and technology managers on important digital transformation themes and challenges. The forum also hosts a “Meet the Editors” session where editors of highly ranked international journals will introduce their journals, discuss journal selection strategies, and give advice for aspiring authors.

The day will include keynote speeches, panel discussions and business digital transformation living lab sessions focusing on the sustainability in digital entrepreneurship, circular economy, digital healthcare, digital transformation in the industry, sustainable consumption, digitalization of entrepreneurial ecosystems and digital transformation in the financial sector. Meet the editor session will highlight the need of knowledge absorption capacity and entrepreneurship will be promoted at the digital entrepreneurship space by a Start-up elevator pitch and followed by a Q&A session of the international investors’ panel.
